History
There had to be a better way and flexible PVC lining
was and remains today the answer. Ken Lippert, after
years of working in the woodstave tank lining industry
decided in 1976 to start his own company. He knew that
flexible PVC liners were the cost effective solution
to the on-going challenge of containing liquids, particularly
corrosive and dangerous materials.
Ken built Kentain Products Limited on a simple philosophy:
“build leak free, resilient prefabricated liners
that meet the customers’ needs and the company
will grow.”
And grow it did. Within several years Ken had moved
out of the garage and into a larger manufacturing space.
In 1986 Ken and his brother Glen built their own 6,000
square foot plant in Kitchener. The new facility allowed
Kentain to take on much larger projects.
In 1993 Ken retired, selling the business to his brother
Glen. Today Glen, his son Scott and a long time employee,
Joseph Schaefer, are the key people in continuing the
Kentain tradition of manufacturing and installing the
best flexible PVC tank liners in Canada.
